Professor Assaf Razin will give the honorary lecture

Assaf Razin is currently the Friedman Professor of International Economics at Cornell University, a position he has held since 2001.

Previously, Razin has been a visiting professor at several universities including Yale, Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania, and Northwestern. He is also the co-author of Foreign Direct Investment: Analysis of Aggreagate Flow released in 2007 by Princeton University Press. Razin was born in Kibbutz Shamir, Israel, where he spent the first 24 years of his life. He received his B.A. and M.S. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and his Ph.D in economics from the University of Chicago.
