Professor Viktor Polterovich has confirmed his participation

Victor Polterovich – Professor of Economics, Head of the Laboratory of Mathematical Economics in Central Economics and Mathematics Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences; Deputy-Director of Moscow School of Economics, Lomonosov Moscow State University; Professor Emeritus of the New Economic School. He is an author of many works in Mathematical Economics, Theory of Economic Development, Institutional Economics and the Theory of Economic Reforms, as well as in methodology and philosophy of economic science.  He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society, a member of Academia Europaea and a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

   In 1991, he was honored to deliver Walras - Bowley Lecture at the North American Summer Meeting of the Econometric Society. He won both the N.D. Kondratiev’s  Prize and the  L. V.  Kantorovich’s Prize of the Presidium of Russian Academy of Science as well as the L. V. Kantorovich’s Prize of the Journal of the New Economic Association.

   Polterovich has served on editorial boards of Econometrica (1989 - 1995 гг.), Journal of Mathematical Economics (1985-2009), Mathematical Social Sciences (1995 – 1999), Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization (2003-2011). Currently he is an Editor in Chief of the Journal of the New Economic Association and a member of editorial boards of a number of international and Russian economic journals.

   In 2009-2015, Polterovich has been a President of the New Economic Association, now he is its Honorary President. He has served on the Board of the Global Development Network (2000-2004), on the Executive Committee of International Economic Association (2005–2011), on the UN Committee for Development Policy (2010-2015).

   Victor Polterovich is a member of the Economic Council under the President of the Russian Federation from 2013.
