Ikka Korhonen, Head of the Research Institute for Economics in Transition, Bank of Finland:

‘My interests lie in the area of macroeconomics, and there are a lot of papers being presented at the conference that important for my work.

Finland and Russia have strong and long-lasting ties, so our institute studies Russia’s economy, as well as modern trends and development.

I often travel to Russia. While I don’t necessarily like all the salt and chemicals on the snowy streets during the winter, what I love is the exhilarating energy of Moscow. This is the mood that reigns supreme at the conference.’
