Report of applications submitted for XIV April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development

More than 800 applications as a speaker at the XIV April International Academic Conference on Social and Economic development have been submitted, and around 200 of them are from foreign colleagues. This year, the largest number of applications was received from Ukraine (17), Germany (15), Italy, the UK and the USA (14 applications).

At the moment the Program committee received over 50 collective requests from HSE staff and from members of other educational institutions.

The most popular among the issues are "Political Processes" (62 applications), "Financial Institutions and Markets" (61 applications) and "Macroeconomics and Growth" (60 applications)

The conference becomes more popular outside of the Higher School of Economics. About 60% of application received from applicants that don’t relate to HSE.

A review of applications involving both internal HSE experts and experts not connected with the university, including foreign ones is scheduled until February 1, 2013. A confirmation from more than 40 experts has been received already.
