HERB spring issue

We are glad to present you a first issue of new informational newsletter ‘Higher Education in Russia and Beyond’, published by National Research University Higher School of Economics.

Dear colleagues,

We are glad to present you a first issue of new informational newsletter ‘Higher Education in Russia and Beyond’, published by National Research University Higher School of Economics. New bulletin is aimed to show current Russian, Central Asian and Eastern European educational trends to the international higher education research community. We believe that represented region changes in terms of higher education systems will be beneficial in a wider international context.

Each HERB issue is dedicated to a specific topic and contains both analytics and independent expert opinions, based on the data and opinions presented.

The first issue is focused on the major Russian ‘excellence initiative’ — the Global Competitiveness of Leading Russian Universities Program, which is aimed at making Russian universities world-class research universities.

We hope that HERB develops into an expert discussion platform dedicated to the issues of higher education in post-socialist countries.
