"Automation and Remote Control" publishes English translations of articles published in "Avtomatika i Telemekhanika" and selected invited articles. 

The journal "Avtomatika i Telemekhanika" is one of the oldest periodicals in the world devoted to the problems of control sciences. The journal publishes the results in the field of theory and practice of automatic control.  
The journal is issued 12 times per year (every month). Articles submitted to the journal must be written in Russian.

As its mission, the journal sees the development of business informatics as a new field of information technology and management. It promotes the results of the latest technological and methodological research, encourages relevant skills development, and provides opportunities for discussions in the application of the latest IT solutions in business, management and economics.

The journal publishes articles on the following topics: modeling of social and economic systems, digital transformation of business, innovation management, information systems and digital technologies in business, data analysis and business intelligence systems, mathematical methods and algorithms of business informatics, modeling and analysis of business processes, and support for managerial decision-making.

The Journal aims to outline the field of knowledge of the “World Economy” and to become a platform for discussing global economic problems and Russia’s place and opportunities in the global economy. As a bilingual journal, it is also intended to serve as a tool for the exchange of opinions between Russian and foreign authors, bringing the views of Russian economists to their foreign colleagues, and the content of international discussions to Russian-speaking audiences.

The Journal is aimed at a wide audience and covers a wide range of problems in the contemporary world economy.

The Journal clearly and intelligibly explains the ideas and methods to solve control problems based on modern modeling approaches under a variable environment, incomplete or limited information, conflicting goals, and weakly structured and multiple objectives. These problems are commonly encountered in the real world. The Journal focuses on systems analysis and general-system operation mechanisms of large-scale objects, theory and techniques of choice and decision-making in complex systems, expertise and data analysis, large-scale system models, applied mathematical control models of various systems, prediction techniques and models, applied models and methods of management in organizations and economy, and the problems of national and regional administration. Compared to similar journals of the field, Control Sciences is remarkable for a uniform scope of modern control problems, an interdisciplinary approach, and an emphasis on the potential applicability of scientific results. The Journal publishes original papers with new scientific results on theoretical control problems and applications, comprehensive state-of-the-art surveys of key scientific problems, conference reports of major interest, and brief communications.

The journal is published on a quarterly basis. The materials are available in the public domain. Articles are indexed in international and Russian databases, including Scopus (Q2), ESCI WOS, RSCI WOS, CROSS REF, EBSCO, UlrichsWeb, RePEc, DOAJ, and RSCI.

Published in print and online versions, issues are also available in English. Publications are free for authors. All articles planned for publication must undergo a double-blind peer review.

Foresight has been published since 2007 four times a year. The English version of Foresight and STI Governance has been published since 2014. Foresight and STI Governance is included in the first quartile (Q1) of the international Scopus database.

Its Editorial Board and Council consist of prominent Russian and foreign researchers whose activity has fostered integration of the world scientific community. The target audience comprises researches, university professors and graduate students.

Submitted papers should match JEL classification and can cover country specific or international economic issues, in various areas, such as micro- and macroeconomics, econometrics, economic policy, labor markets, social policy.

The purpose of the journal is to inform the scientific community about the developing and rapidly changing field of social research “at the micro level”, where interpersonal interaction, group consciousness, and the emotional component of social reality are at the center of the study. Special attention is paid to innovative, exploratory research practices, the use of non-traditional techniques and sources of information, new problem areas, as well as ethical aspects in the study of the micro- of social relations.
