World Bank grant to support participants from developing countries, CIS and countries of Eastern Europe

World Bank supports scientists from developing countries, CIS and Eastern Europe who present results of their research at the April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development held at Higher School of Economics, by offering a grant which will help to defray travel and accommodation costs. Only participants whose papers were accepted by Programme Committee and included into the Conference programme are eligible to apply. The amount of award includes the cost of travel (economy class only) and accommodation during the Conference days (one day before and after the conference). The accommodation costs should not exceed 3000 roubles/day. The number of awards is limited.

Criteria for grants include:

• session presenters (obligatory);
• applicant should be a national of one of the target countries (applications from Russian participants won't be considered);
• first time recipients are preferred (2017 grantees are not eligible to apply).

Deadline for application is February 18, 2018.

Applicants will be notified on the contest results  by February 28, 2018.
